Green energy investment that everyone can participate in, with high returns and efficiency
We are a globally aligned power producer and investment manager with approximately $7.6 billion in assets under management. Our strategy connects investors seeking stable returns with our owned and operated income-generating renewable energy assets, expanding access to clean energy in communities around the world.
261 photovoltaic power stations, 98 community solar heating and cooling power stations, and 12 concentrated solar power stations have been developed.
Investment and development of 117 hydropower stations around the world
Developed 58.2 GW of wind power generation and 15.7 GW of energy storage
173 renewable energy projects actively developed in the United States, Europe, and Africa.
We invest in the development of utility-scale ground mount photovoltaic solar, onshore wind and energy storage globally. Our long experience from operating at all stages of renewable energy production has convinced us that we can roll out the highest volumes of gigawatts, and thus create the biggest possible positive environmental impact, by focusing on the project development phase.
Our unique investment model balances the risks of investing in energy production.
Faster development cycles coupled with high production volumes provide investors with attractive returns.
Typically, energy developers have to seek funding for each project individually. However, we fund the entire portfolio over the life of the joint venture. This makes our investment model extremely scalable - one that has enabled us to achieve an active development pipeline of 56 GW! And we’re just getting started.
At FGGE, we believe in providing more than just returns. Our investors trust us to align their financial goals with their values, and we are committed to maintaining that trust. Learn how our commitment to transparency and service excellence makes a difference for our investors.
Green energy refers to any type of energy that is generated from natural resources such as sunlight, wind or water.
Solar Energy refers to the energy obtained from the sun through the use of photovoltaic cells or solar panels.
Wind energy is energy obtained from the force of the wind. How is it obtained? By converting the kinetic energy of the airflow into electrical energy via wind turbines. Wind energy is mainly extracted via rotors, which convert the kinetic energy into mechanical energy, and generators, which convert the mechanical energy into electrical energy. Currently, wind energy can be divided into two types, depending on where the wind turbines are installed: Onshore wind energy Onshore wind energy uses the force of wind at land-based wind farms to generate electricity. To do this, we install wind turbines that convert the kinetic energy of the wind into usable electrical energy and transmit it to the distribution grid. Offshore wind energy Offshore wind energy is energy obtained from the force of wind generated on the high seas, where wind speeds are faster and more stable than on land, due to the absence of obstacles. To make the most of this resource, giant structures are installed on the seabed and equipped with the latest technological innovations.
Hydroelectric power plants use the energy of falling water to generate electricity. Turbines convert the kinetic energy of the falling water into mechanical energy. Generators then convert the mechanical energy of the turbines into electrical energy.
